In large ScienceLogic systems, adedicated appliance performs each function. There are five general functions that a ScienceLogic appliance can perform. ADistributed system can be as small as two appliances, or can include multiple instances of each type ofappliance. The functions of the ScienceLogic platform are divided between multiple appliances. In this type of system, a single appliance handles all the functions of the ScienceLogic platform.The monitoring capacity of an All-In-One system cannot be increased by adding additional appliances.
